Atractivos de El Río Calima

Es un balneario natural situado cerca al municipio de Calima/Darien, ideal para disfrutar del campo y la naturaleza, para programar su paseo familiar o el “parche” con los amigos.

El río Calima es uno de los principales destinos turísticos de fines de semana y días feriados.

El río Calima  es posiblemente “el lugar de escape más común que utilizan los turistas y bañistas procedentes de todo el Valle del Cauca.”

Uno de los principales atractivos de este río es su caudal corrientoso  y su agua es fría y cristalina.

Además tiene condiciones de Bosque Húmedo, por lo que cuenta con una gran variedad de fauna y flora.

En estos paseos usualmente se lleva comida o se prepara directamente en el río. A estos últimos se los conoce como “Paseos de olla” y los más tradicionales son en los que se prepara Sancocho de Gallina.

Igualmente, si no se desea preparar la comida en el río o llevarla, siempre se puede acudir a alguno de los restaurantes de la zona. Encontrar venta de alimentos en el sector es muy fácil, especialmente si se encuentra en uno de los balnearios.

Sólo existe una ruta de entrada y de salida del río Calima,  por lo que llegar hasta el lugar es relativamente sencillo. Si va en carro particular o en bus usted llega muy fácil ya que el principal “playa o charco se encuentra muy cerca de vía pavimenta.

Attractions of El Río Calima

It is a natural spa located near the municipality of Calima / Darien, ideal to enjoy the countryside and nature, to schedule your family outing or the "patch" with friends.

The Calima River is one of the main tourist destinations for weekends and holidays.

The Calima River is possibly “the most common escape place used by tourists and bathers from all over the Cauca Valley.”

One of the main attractions of this river is its high flow and its water is cold and crystal clear.

It also has humid forest conditions, so it has a great variety of fauna and flora.

These walks usually take food or prepare directly on the river. The latter are known as "Pot Walks" and the most traditional are those in which Sancocho de Gallina is prepared.

Similarly, if you do not want to prepare food in the river or take it, you can always go to one of the restaurants in the area. Finding food sales in the sector is very easy, especially if you are in one of the spas.

There is only one route of entry and exit of the Calima River, so getting to the place is relatively simple. If you go by private car or bus you get very easy since the main “beach or puddle is very close to paved roads.

LA CASCADA DEL AMOR EN LA URIBE-META-The waterfall of Love, La uribe Meta

La Cascada del Amor y Siete Cascadas en Uribe Meta

A este municipio del sur del Meta se puede llegar por tierra a través de la ruta: Villavicencio-Granada- Mesetas y Uribe.

La Cascada del Amor está ubicada en el municipio de Uribe, aproximadamente a cinco horas de Villavicencio, y es uno de los lugares más atractivos para visitar por propios y extranjeros en el departamento del Meta, gracias a su gran caída de agua de 15 metros.

Específicamente a diez minutos de la cabecera principal de Uribe, se encuentra la cascada del amor, y por supuesto la flora y fauna que la rodea la ha convertido en un paraíso terrenal, donde la claridad del agua, y el canto de los pájaros hace que quien la visite no se quiera ir.

Cabe mencionar que dentro de este recorrido turístico también se encuentra el sector de las siete cascadas, un lugar donde las personas empiezan a descender como su nombre lo indica, cascada tras cascada hasta llegar a la Cascada del amor, sitio emblemático y turístico de este departamento.

Las Siete Cascadas se conocen únicamente recorriendo sus aguas, pues es inevitable no caer en sus pozos e iniciar una travesía donde se aprecia la naturaleza en todo su esplendor, luego de varios obstáculos para unos y diversión para otros, entre salto y salto se van pasando las cascadas que emanan un color verdoso vivo.

Este es un producto construido con el objetivo de incentivar el desarrollo económico a través del turismo en comunidades rurales de municipios apartados de la capital llanera Villavicencio y que hoy son llamados DESTINOS EMERGENTES, lugares y escenarios enclavados en la selva o quizás muy cerca a los cascos urbanos de municipios que fueron azotados por la violencia especialmente en la Ruta Embrujo Llanero y Ruta Sierra de la Macarena. Más imágenes de en uribe meta existe un sitio de otro mundo llamado popularmente "la cascada del amor", se dice en el argor de su gente "quien vaya a la cascada del amor con su pareja enamorados, ese amor perdurara para toda la vida", este sitio cuenta con un camino natural rodeando la quebrada la dulzana.
