La Cascada del
Amor y Siete Cascadas en Uribe Meta
A este municipio del sur del Meta se puede llegar por tierra a través de
la ruta: Villavicencio-Granada- Mesetas y Uribe.
La Cascada
del Amor está ubicada
en el municipio de Uribe, aproximadamente a
cinco horas de Villavicencio, y es uno de los lugares más atractivos para
visitar por propios y extranjeros en el departamento del Meta, gracias a su gran caída
de agua de 15 metros.
Específicamente a diez minutos de la cabecera
principal de Uribe, se encuentra la cascada del amor, y por supuesto la flora y fauna
que la rodea la ha convertido en un paraíso terrenal, donde la claridad del
agua, y el canto de los pájaros hace que quien la visite no se quiera ir.
Cabe mencionar
que dentro de este recorrido turístico también se encuentra
el sector de las siete cascadas, un lugar donde las
personas empiezan a descender como su nombre lo indica, cascada tras cascada
hasta llegar a la Cascada del amor, sitio emblemático y turístico
de este departamento.
Las Siete Cascadas se conocen
únicamente recorriendo sus aguas, pues es inevitable no caer en sus
pozos e iniciar una travesía donde se aprecia la naturaleza en todo su
esplendor, luego de varios obstáculos para unos y diversión para otros,
entre salto y salto se van pasando las cascadas que emanan un color verdoso
vivo.
